Anatomy of Typography

The last few days I have learned about anatomy of type. It describes the graphic elements that make up printed letters in a typeface. It gives each font and character its own voice. Theres a different theme for each one. Lets say you have a poster with a beautiful simple design, you don't want to ruin that with a crazy noisy font do you? So you use a simplistic font that drags you in towards the poster. See? The different anatomy of types help get you to a beautiful design, and help you learn about the next font you or others will make. I have created a piece above me that will help me in the future of typography.
